Rust removal and cleaning

Mechanical treatment: Use a wire brush, sandpaper or an Angle grinder to grind the defective area to remove rust, scale and loose coating.

Chemical treatment: Acid washing (sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, etc.) or special cleaning agents are used to dissolve the rust. Attention should be paid to operation protection to avoid corrosion.

High-pressure water cleaning: Washes away stubborn dirt and rust layers, suitable for large-scale cleaning.

Surface flattening

After grinding, dust and oil stains need to be removed to ensure that the repaired surface is dry and smooth, and to enhance the adhesion of the subsequent coating.
